Online via JAMB Portal
Visit eFacility Portal: Use a browser, navigate to JAMB’s official website and log in to your account by providing login credentials.
Locate “Print Result Slip”: On the Dashboard of your account, click the “Print Result Slip” tab.
Make Payment: Choose an appropriate payment method and make the payment.
Proceed to “Print Slip”: After successful payment, you are directed to the Slip Printing. Enter your “Exam Year” and “Registration Number”. Press the “Print Result Slip” button and get your result.
Offline via SMS
Use your registered mobile phone number and open the messaging application.
Type “UTMERESULT” or “RESULT” and send this message to 55019 or 66019.
Shortly, you will get your result by SMS or be informed with a valid reason.

JAMB Result Status and Meaning
You get these statuses while checking the JAMB result. The statuses with meaning are described here;
“This Phone Number is not used for Registration” – It indicates no student is registered with this number (you are using).
“Dear Mr./Miss X, your result is as follows…” –The candidate’s Result is available here.
“Result Withheld” – The Result of the candidate has been withheld.
“Candidate Absent” – Candidate didn’t appear in the exams. He or she is absent.
“Result Withheld pending required clarifications/documents”– Before releasing the result, additional verification or documents are required from the candidate.
“Registration Number Cancelled” – The registration of the candidate is cancelled.
“Invalid Entrance into Exam Hall” – Without authorization, the Candidate enters the examination hall.
JAMB Result Duration
The time taken for the JAMB result varies, so there is no proper timeframe for the JAMB result to come out. It may take a few weeks or a few months, so patiently wait for it. Once it’s out, then check it from the JAMB’s portal or by SMS them and plan your studies.
